WHEN & WHERE?
We can recycle your fresh-cut (not artificial) Christmas trees!
Bring your Christmas trees (with all decorations, lights, and tinsel removed) to:
Evergreen Lutheran Church on 5980 Hwy 73 or to the vacant lot across from King Soopers in Bergen park (1246 Bergen Parkway).
- January 5th – Bergen Park vacant Lot only, 1-4pm
- January 6th – both locations, 9am-3pm
- January 13 – both locations, 9am-3pm
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Come by the church with your tree(s). A volunteer from our partner organization, Evergreen Sustainability Alliance, will be there to take the tree right off your car for you!
Trees must be real and have no decorations, tinsel, or flocking (the fake white snow).
After collecting all the trees, we put them through our chipper to turn them into mulch that can be reused in your garden. Mulch is offered for free year-round. Please contact the office or call 303-674-8733 for details.
